A "commitment ceremony" usually refers to a public ceremony that celebrates the mutual commitment of two people without legally changing the terms of their relationship. Commitment ceremonies are held by couples who are not legally free to marry and by couples who want to celebrate their love without marrying.

Prior to our first meeting you need to have given some thought about the words you will say to eachother, whether you will exchange rings or gifts, if you would like to incorporate some symbolic ritual.  Your ceremony will be designed specifically to your needs so please give some time to consider your choices.

At our first meeting I will discuss with you your requirements and provide you with an information pack which will provide you with further advice and assistance in planning you ceremony.  We will confirm the time and venue and arrange a second meeting to rehearse your ceremony.
